The SS6R is a resistor based, automatic impedanced matching speaker selector used for connecting 6 pairs of speakers while maintaining a safe impedance load for your receiver. Each pair of speakers can be turned on or off independently in any combination without concern for amplifier loading.
-Connect and safely control multiple speaker pairs.
-Automatic impedance matching protection circuitry engages without the need for user involvement.
-Individual room on/off pushbuttons
-Heavy-duty screw-type connectors are removable and accept up to 14 gauge wire
-Isolated left/right circuit grounds provide safe connections for amplifiers with floating grounds or bridged configurations
-High quality construction throughout provides excellent reliability,
accurate noise-free switching and years of trouble free operation
-Rubber feet prevent scratching and keep selector in place during operation

This at this time is an unknown for me as I got it for future installs in other rooms. The unit appears to be of solid construction and should do well for that purpose.
Great service. Website was informative and helpful.
They seamlessly switch among any or all of the 4 sets of speakers I currently have installed. One of the 6 sets of connections did not turn off one of the speakers. I just switched to the next one as I have two I am not yet using.
