Whole house audio setup on a budget

Kevin,

It`s generally ok to have just a single pair of speakers in a room
that`s only being used occasionally. But you can wire for two pair and
only cut in one pair for safety sake.

For the speaker selector, take a look at this Phoenix Gold ISM4 here:
https://www.inwallstore.com/ism4.html

For Volume Controls, if you like the Phoenix selector then just stick
with the Phoenix Gold volume controls here:
https://www.inwallstore.com/product_p/vsl-125im.htm

As for speakers themselves, we like these “bang for the buck”
ones here:
https://www.inwallstore.com/jac6aii.html

Hope that gets you started.
