OEM switchers provide nominal 8 Ohm load for amplifier protection against low impedance loads.
Barrier Termination Strip Construction provides positive wire terminations much superior to the Quick Connect type. This design is preferred by experienced installation experts over inferior quick connect types.
Individual on/off switches for each pair of speakers.
Heavy Duty metal chassis and cases with high grade circuit boards.
The SW-8SPKR is designed to allow up to 8 pairs of 8 Ohm speakers to be connected to a stereo amplifier or receiver without damaging the amplifier. These devices also function as Switching Stations to control all the speakers in a multi-room system from a central location.
The buttons are used to turn the individual pairs of speakers ON & OFF.
Wiring from the amplifier to the SW-8SPKR should be a minimum of 16 gauge. If wire is to be run through walls, it should be CL rated. For runs over 100 feet 14 gauge wire may be used.
17 W x 2 H x 5 1/4 Deep
Switch 8 pairs of speakers, play any
combination including all 8 pairs
simultaneously with nominal 8 Ohm
load amplifier protection
Rated at 125 Watts RMS per channel
17 W x 2 H x 5 1/4 Deep

I’d been looking for a switch that would let me select just a few speakers instead of turning on the whole house. This fit the bill. Awesome. Does not need electricity and you just plug in the “input” and “output” and then connect the switch to the different wall speakers.
The home stereo and theater system sound great. I’m using a Denon 3313CI to drive it all.
I’m really happy with it.
Just what I was looking for.Works great. Will be back.Fast shipping. Thank You
