I wouldn’t recommend those for theater use. Check this and this for my recommendations.
There’s nothing you need to really check for in your receiver, all our stuff is matched fine with “consumer electronics” type things.
The “numbers” really don`t tell you much (sorry). They are an objective measure of a speaker but not “subjective”. The subjective part is the more important measure as that is what the speaker sounds like to “you”. I don’t want to get you too worried however, all our speakers in the home theater kit area are ones that we’ve hand picked and really like the sound of.
