The TM6C was a replacement for me because I erroneously ordered ceiling speakers for in-wall use and they would not fit the smaller depth of my wall. The TM6C was a direct fit replacement as I had already templated my holes for the too thick ceiling speakers, and the TM6C’s fit beautifully with no modification. These are my rear channel surround speakers and they handle the job well, providing a warm sound with a wide soundstage, excellent imaging, and smooth highs. I appreciate that the tweeters are directional and can be focused to optimally locate the highs. The bass is a bit lean, but in my 5.1 set up the subwoofer more than compensates for this. In fact, it is preferable to me in the setting with a subwoofer, allowing the surrounds to contribute a brighter and forward sound that enhances the surround experience. Very happy with these speakers!
speakers were easy to install and sound great
My experience with First Rate as a procurement professional with 40 years of experience I have seen the spectrum of customer service. This has been first rate, excellent product and service, Could not recommend them higher.
I cannot begin to count the hours that I spent pouring over reviews and specs in the hunt for my in-ceiling speakers. I found the Inwallstore approach for providing a basis for comparing like for like speaker materials and construction extremely helpful. The speakers are fantastic – solid construction, efficient, clear and accurate; they were absolutely the right call for my system. Throw-in the price point and they cannot be beat, not even close. You will pay much, much more for “big name brand” speakers that approach the same construction and quality profile. The question is: Why? I purchased a matched set of in-wall units and I will certainly be back the next time I need speakers.
